If you’re visiting for the first time feel free to dress the way you feel comfortable in formal attire or jeans and casual wear.
We provide nursery service for infants up to 3 years old which opens 15 minutes before the service begins. Each staff member has had a mandatory background screening before they can serve in the nursery. There is also a privacy room for nursing mothers. Complete detail of our nursery is provided in our visitor’s packet or stop by for a tour.
You don’t have to participate but during service you may see some of the following Biblical expressions of worship:
Musical Instruments – Our Creative Arts team leads us into God’s presence with drums, electric guitar, bass, keyboards and various multimedia elements. Psalm 150:3-4, “Praise Him with trumpet sound; praise Him with lute and harp! Praise Him with tambourine and dance; praise Him with strings and pipe”!
Raising of hands – an expression of surrender and love to Jesus. Psalm 28:2, “Hear the voice of my pleas for mercy, when I cry for you for help, when I lift up my hands toward Your most Holy Sanctuary”. 1Timothy 2:8 – “I desire then that in every place men should pray, lifting Holy hands without anger or quarreling”.
Clapping hands and dancing – an expression of joy and celebration of love to Jesus. Psalm 47:1, “Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy”! Psalm 149:3, “Let them praise His name with dancing, making melody to Him with tambourine and lyre”.
Speaking in Tongues – the language of the Holy Spirit in us for personal edification. Acts 2:4, “All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them”.
Our Sunday morning services are “kid friendly” and family orientated. After worship the sermon begins. Your children can then go to their age appropriate Sunday school classes for PreK- 6th grade (SNL kids) and 7th through 12th grade (180Youth). Ask any usher or stop at the hospitality desk and they will direct you to the right place for your child. Each staff member has had a mandatory background screening before they can serve in Sunday school or in any children’s or Youth ministry. At the end of service if you’d like personal ministry for any need for yourself or a family member we have a skilled prayer team that is available to pray with you.
Immediately following the Sunday morning services we have an informal coffee & cookie hour where people can visit with others. Everyone is welcome to attend.
If you’re visiting and have any questions feel free to stop by the hospitality desk (located near the front entrance going into our café) and there will be someone you can talk to on Sunday mornings. You can also call the church office Monday through Friday from 9 to 12:30 PM if you have questions. We look forward to meeting you!
